My Name is Terri Mills, and This is My Odyssey Fitness Story......

In May 2023, my world turned upside down. My seemingly healthy 15-year-old son was suddenly diagnosed with a rare disease—one we never saw coming. Within days, we found ourselves in the hospital, where he ultimately needed a liver transplant. For 37 long days, from diagnosis to transplant, we lived in a whirlwind of exhaustion, uncertainty, hope, and faith.

From the time we checked in the hospital and when my son could go back to school, four months had gone by. I was completely depleted—physically, mentally, and emotionally. A friend reminded me of something I had forgotten: I had always loved working out.

Encouraged to do something for myself, I decided to try Odyssey Fitness.

From the first session, lifting weights became more than just exercise—it became my escape. It was the one place where the weight of the world wasn’t pressing down on me. It gave me space to breathe, to reset, and to rebuild—not just my strength but my mindset.

The biggest transformation I’ve experienced isn’t just physical—it’s mental. Odyssey Fitness has helped me rediscover the power of prioritizing myself. Taking care of my own well-being has made me stronger in every way, allowing me to show up as the best version of myself for my family.

Physical goals were never my main focus, but thanks to Ethan, his incredible trainers, and the individualized workouts they created for me, I’ve reaped the benefits of losing 35 pounds, dropping 3 pant sizes, adding muscle, and, most importantly, rebuilding my confidence—in myself!

I’m beyond grateful for Odyssey Fitness and the impact it has had on my life. Lifting weights has become my sanctuary—a place where I heal, grow, and find strength, inside and out.

Starting in 2020, I noticed my weight creeping up and my overall health taking a hit. I chalked much of it up to the stress of the COVID-19 pandemic, two cross-country moves in as many years, and adjusting to a demanding new job. I tried incorporating more physical activity into my routine, but the lack of progress left me feeling discouraged and hopeless.

Still, my long-term goal—to travel the world well into my later years—kept pushing me forward. I knew I needed to make a serious change if I wanted the energy and stamina to live that dream. In early 2024, I stepped out of my comfort zone and decided to give Odyssey Fitness a try.

The glowing reviews and a 21-day free trial made it feel like a no-risk decision with the potential for big rewards.

And it was. Just a few sessions in, I was hooked. I felt stronger, more confident, and completely energized by the supportive, upbeat atmosphere. The trainers and fellow members created a space where hard work was balanced with fun—filled with music, shared stories, and plenty of laughter.

Odyssey Fitness has become more than just a workout—it's a community where I'm improving my health and building meaningful connections along the way.

I began to feel improvements in my overall health, strength, and confidence within the first month or two. But staying consistent with my workouts has truly paid off!

I'm now down 37lbs & 11% Body Fat.

I’ve also dropped 4 dress and pant sizes.

I can breeze up and down stairs without a second thought, my energy levels are higher, and my blood pressure has returned to a healthy range!

Others notice, too—I receive compliments on my progress almost daily, which is always encouraging. Still, what I’m most proud of are the strength gains I’ve made. One of my recent milestones? Leg pressing 300 pounds!

My Name is Erin Drummond, and This is My Odyssey Fitness Story......

I started at Odyssey Fitness in Fall 2023, after a few tough years where I wasn’t prioritizing myself. I had a baby during Covid, was caring for my dad with early-onset Alzheimer’s, and the stress had really taken a toll.

I was tired, frustrated, and feeling defeated.

I knew I had to do something, but I was intimidated to get back into the gym.

Then I saw a Facebook ad for Odyssey’s 28-day trial, and it felt like the perfect chance to start fresh. From day one, I loved the small group training, the welcoming atmosphere, and how supportive the trainers were. In just a few months, I had more energy, better-fitting clothes, and my strength was improving fast.

But in January 2024, I was hit with something unexpected—pericarditis, inflammation of the heart. I was hospitalized for a week, put on strict exercise limitations, and later began steroid treatments with tough side effects: weight gain, mood swings, insomnia.

It felt like I was starting all over again.

It would have been easy to give up on my training but the team at Odyssey—Ethan, Lizzie, and Allison—helped me ease back into training safely. They modified my workouts, monitored my heart rate, and supported me every step of the way.

Giving up wasn’t an option, and with their help, I powered through.

Fast forward to today:

My Blood pressure is the lowest it’s ever been

I can do real push-ups for the first time ever

I’m at my lowest body fat & highest muscle

I sleep better, feel stronger, and have so much more energy!

I’m incredibly thankful for Ethan, Lizzie, & Allison for guiding me through the past year and a half. They’ve shown me just how essential strength training is, especially as we age.
